Try Go Green Tube to Get Your Daily Vid Fix

globalwarming1

Tired of the same old videos of  “Leave Brittany Alone!” diatribes, giggling babies, and cats flushing toilets? Are you into the green scene? Then GoGreenTube may be just for you.

From Leo Dicaprio’s global warming warning to product reviews, like SIGG bottles and Fair Trade Soccer Balls, GoGreenTube has the eco streamer covered.

Their mission is “to create a green focused hub of such activity, educating the world on how to live a greener, healthier, fun life, in a way that’s lighter on the planet.” Sweet!

Unlike other video sites, GoGreenTube actually helps its users save the environment. How can watching videos and eating Skittles help the planet, you may wonder, as you sit and taste the rainbow. Well, candy-crunching friend, once you do the quick ‘n easy registration and start watching the eco footage roll, GoGreenTube will offset a whole pound of carbon for each vid you watch. Truly! It’s verified and everything.

Plus, if you drag your pals along, they’ll offset carbon, too. It’s like going to the movies, but for free. And you get to check off a good deed. Plus, no sticky stuff on your shoes.

am disappointed that there’s so little here. hope this changes soon. know that it’s probably only cool to be green if you’re over 25 and paying the bills which puts you in the position of knowing how much carbon you’re pouring into the heating, cooling, transporting, cooking, etc etc. like the undies. what’s next?

i would really like people to understand that it doesn’t take a lot of effort to be green. i believe that more people should be taught small way on how to contribute to a better world. what started it all for me was watching ‘an inconvenient truth’, after watching, i felt i had to know everything i could about the issue. ‘The 11th hour’ is a wonderful film too, i was absolutely blown away by it. I highly recommend these films, because they will open your eyes to problems that need solutions :-) :-)
