AdviceFebruary11

Hey Ladies, Your Guys need some V-Day advice…

Some guys think Valentine’s Day is ‘just another date’.  However, here at Hey Josh (dot com!) we know that Valentine’s Day is a perfect opportunity for your guy to express how he feels about you, create the perfect date or to just go deeper into debt because he thinks a fancy restaurant makes up for a lack of planning.  (That’ll help the economy)

So, Ladies – Can YOU offer some advice about what is MOST important to you on a Valentine’s date?  This will really help out our guys who are going to start thinking about what they’ll do the night before.  (sorry guys… but it’s true, isn’t it?)

I thank you.
The male species thanks you.
These guys mothers who raised them to know better thanks you.

Most dates are usually the same old thing. Dinner and a movie or the like. On the special days like Valentine’s day, it would be nice to do something fun and different! But I do love cheesey heart-shaped boxes of chocolate and roses wrapped in crinkly celophane!

For one thing guys don’t ignore the day. Don’t give her excuses like “I don’t have the money to do anything special” That’s probably the worst thing a guy could do. It doesn’t take a ton of money. Make her something special, fix her a romantic dinner, and girls don’t need a dozen of the most expensive roses. Most girls would be happy with a single carnation or daisy just to know that your thinking of her.

Maybe I’m the only girl in the world who thinks Valentine’s Day is an invention of the candy company/teddy bear industry. But truthfully, I’d be happier sitting around his house, watching a chick flick (yes, i know it’s a sacrafice.. you’ll have to make it) with a pepperoni pizza and a 6 pack of pop. Rather than go out to some resturaunt, rack the guy up a huge bill because I can probably down more food than him, and in the end have an awkward “yeah, this was fun…” moment. But i guess thats just me.

Alright, this topic I’m dead on in.
Some guys don’t have money? That’s cool. Set up a little in-home movie and everything. Lay down a blanket popcorn and you could probably get a recipe for some sort of fancy soda blend and just spend the night together.
In reality I can’t STAND huge dinner like Jo said. It’s so awkward afterward… I’d like a small get together and a movie night for Valentines day.

And for some reason I agree with Jo’s entire post.

Are you my twin?! Haha.
All in all, I’d rather have a tiny thing rather then money and gifts galore.

Of all the options I definitely choose creativity because spending time thinking and preparing something different and special shows devotion. It doesn’t have to be all original and different some traditional things are also cool like a romantic dinner, roses and teddy bears but besides something this it is also nice to do or to receive something different.

There are no limits when one uses their creative side of their brain. Sometimes even the smallest love note from your main squeeze is powerful and meaningful. It doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg to mean something. Love is free. (so is smiling)

Remember, woman like to be flattered and treated with respect. Love us for our minds and remember to say, you inspire me. (Say it only when you mean it, or you lose the effect.)

Thanks,

Okay here’s the thing, guys.
Saying happy valentines day and giving her a hug is worth more than taking her out to the movies or something.
It’s the thought that counts.
But if you FORGET valentines day (or her birthday)…
I fear for your life. (:
Good luck guys.
Don’t forget.
Girls love chocolate. 8D
