FLIP Clue #4

Congratulations. You have successfully made it to day 4 of our Flip camera giveaway! Not that it’s that impressive of a feat. All you’ve really had to do is come to this site for 4 days straight. Even a monkey could’ve done that. Congratulations. You are as skilled as a monkey. Can you taste the sweet victory that is only days away? Your goal of being a future YouTube celebrity is within grasp. Without further ado, I give you clue #4. And I also give you a really sweet way to ask someone to prom. Or homecoming. Or the movies. Of course,  you need to tell them that “prom” stands for homecoming or the movies.

CLUE #4: What’s the 11th word in this video? Count very carefully. I know this is tricky since you only have ten fingers. You may need to use one of your toes.

Question of the day: If you used your Flip Camera to film a documentary, what would be it be about?

I would make a documentary about the wonderful things that the youth in this town are doing to stay away from drugs and alcohol. They are involved in sports, they are rockin’ some original tunes at the local sober club house (aka Turning Point), they are painting and writing awesome lyrics – they are helping plant the community gardens around town. They are making videos for the Prevention Coalition to post on YouTube to show how much FUN it is to stay safe this summer. Oh, they’re getting ready for prom too, so they’ll be shooting a lot of footage on that for sure.
They really want to be cutting edge this year, so they need all the help they can get. Josh. Thank you.

I would make my documentary about how high school doesn’t have to be about giving into peer pressure. I have friends who copy what they see because they think people will approve of this. It’s ridiculous, and I want to show people that you don’t have to wear eight different eyeshadows or say stupid phrases just to fit in. I want people to know that the more you define yourself, the more people who are positive influences will gravitate towards you.

If I used my Flip Camera to film a documentary, it would be about the pastor of my church, 30 days in his shoes, almost like “True Life” in a sense. I think he is a wonderful man, the kind of person I would want as a father if I had a say in the matter (not that I don’t love my dad, I just think my pastor is awesome). I don’t think many people who go to church really see what takes place behind the scenes, except for those who also work in the church or his family, of course. My documentary would answer questions like, “What does a pastor really do?” or “What goes on when he isn’t preaching?” Does he truly practice what he preaches? I think that would be an interesting idea.
