The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.

If anything bad happens to you, you have two choices: get bitter or better.

Life isn’t about finding yourself, It’s about creating yourself.

Someone else’s opinion of you does not have to become your reality.

Plan for the future, live in the present and remember the past, but don’t let any one part rule your life.

Stop to smell the roses. Journal about your life because someone is going to want to read it.

Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color. Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable.

Josh Shipp, you are an awesome speaker because you have gone through tought stuff and yet motivate people who have had “better” lives to never settle for less than their best, and you do this all while entertaining your audience to the max. You’re hilarious! The most important thing is that you connect with your audience and you remind us to never settle for mediocrity. Ever.

Are you going to live the next 3-5 years of your life the way most people don’t, so that you can live the rest of your life the way most people never will.

or something like that. You’re the one who said it to me…..

You(Josh Shipp)could tell them (the audience) that they need to get a life if they don’t already own one. America is quickly changing and we are just letting it go by. We need to do something about it like figure out how to make more people in the world laugh. You can pick your friends. You can pick your nose. BUT you can’t pick your friends nose. This is a way of telling us that we can’t be in our friends face if they don’t want us there.

Some advice from our superintendent (with a little bit of Josh mixed in): When you’re in the middle of traffic and some driver makes you mad, say to them, “Bless your heart.” or “God Bless you.” It’s hard to stay in a bad mood that way.
-Live with no regrets.
-It’s easier to get forgiveness than permission.
-Don’t let the little moments pass you by while you’re waiting for the next big thing.
